Law releases new single “Controller”

R&B artist, Law, has just released her new single “Controller” (brought to you by Sloppy Vinyl) which is a follow-up to her earlier single “Over It”.
Law wants to empower women stuck in controlling relationships

Law’s music is designed to empower women around the world and she wants to make sure that “Ladies Always Win” and with her new single “Controller”, Law is firmly in the driver’s seat.

The hot new single, “Controller” opens with the lyrics: “Mama didn’t raise no puppet and Daddy didn’t raise no timid girl”.

In “Controller”, Law sings:

“You better get on your knees and pray to God I don’t leave. Because once I walk out that door, there ain’t no changing my mind.”

In the single, she tells her lover, “I’m not your controller, so don’t go trying to control me, asking me if I’m sober”.

Law is one of the newest and sexiest new R&B singers on the scene. She became Queen of the Besties after she released her first single, “Over it” where she told all her girl friends that it’s okay not to tolerate bad treatment from men or in life generally. After releasing “Over it”, Law quickly gained over one million followers on her TikTok channel while boosting her Instagram following to 130,000 fans in a very short period of time.

Law says that “Controller” was inspired by all the messages she received from fans of “Over it”, telling her of their own restrictive relationships. So from there, and after talking with friends and the bestie gang, she conceptualized and wrote “Controller”.

To really appreciate “Controller”, check out the full music video directed by Corey Hallam. There is far more athleticism than you would think in both the choreography (by Stigs) and Law’s own dance moves as well as some dope krumping by her male featured dancer, Joshua Johnson.

The music video was actually filmed in the James Ward Mansion in Westfield, New Jersey but you would swear you were in an antebellum mansion in New Orleans. The behind the scenes (making of) “Controller” gives you a glimpse into the amount of work that went into the production of this single.

This smooth R&B single has a hip-hop feel to it and you can almost hear Law, rapping these lyrics. Fans will notice that the tempo of “Controller” is faster and more energetic than her earlier single “Over It”. Both her existing fan base and new fans will love Law’s new single, “Controller” which has already garnered almost 2,000 views on her YouTube channel.
