Phil Vassar and Sister Hazel To Set Out on ‘Jingle Jam Live’ Christmas Tour Sounds Like Nashville

Phil Vassar and rock group Sister Hazel will bring the holiday spirit to towns across the US this winter with their 2021 Jingle Jam Live tour, announcing exclusively on Sounds Like Nashville today (Sept. 22). The joint tour will kick off December 2nd in Rochester, NY and will run through multiple cities throughout the Christmas season. The tour will find both acts singing classic holiday tunes as well as originals, such as Vassar’s “Santa’s Gone Hollywood” and “Let’s Make A Little Christmas Tonight.”

“I’m so excited to hit the road with Sister Hazel,” Vassar told SLN. ”We’ve done a lot over the years, and I’m such a fan. They are great singer-songwriters and funny guys; I just love them and know Jingle Jam Live is going to be a lot of fun!”

“We have been friends with Phil for a long time and have always enjoyed working with him,” said Drew Copeland of Sister Hazel. “We can’t wait to finally get on the road with him. Phil is an extremely talented singer/songwriter and that should open the door for a lot of unique and special moments on this tour. He is so creative and full of energy. That mixed with the Sister Hazel magic, it should make for a fun time for both us and the fans. We have always enjoyed doing a Christmas tour, and with Phil in the mix this year the sky is the limit!”

The Jingle Jam Live tour marks Vassar’s fourth Christmas tour. He previously embarked on the Holiday & Hits Tour with Lonestar in 2019 and A Christmas Tour with Kellie Pickler in 2017. Vassar released his Christmas album, Noel, in 2011, which features “Big Ole Texas Christmas” (feat. Ray Benson). The singer also released “The Naughty List” with Pickler in 2017 and “Not So Silent Night” with Lonestar in 2018.
