Sturgill Simpson Cancels Remainder Of Fall Tour Including Ryman Auditorium Shows

Bummer…

Sturgill Simpson has announced today that he’s officially canceling the remainder of his fall tour dates, including his run of shows at the iconic Webster Hall in New York City, as well as his November shows at the Mother Church, Ryman Auditorium.

He didn’t specify on the reasoning, however he recently had to pull out of a few shows on Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival, as well as Farm Aid 2021, due to vocal complications.

In a recent Instagram post Stu was hoping he could chalk up the vocal loss to laryngitis or campfire smoke, and not something more serious, but it remains to be seen if there is an actual vocal chord injury.

“I am extremely disappointed and sorry to have to inform all of you that all five performances this week in New York at Webster Hall AND all three performances in Nashville at The Ryman Auditorium in November are officially cancelled.

All tickets will be fully refunded.

Much like last year, 2021 (in the most consensual way possible) can ALSO go fornicate with itself.”

Stay tuned… hopefully we’ll be able to get these shows back on the schedule soon.

Get well soon Stu, country music needs you, by God.
