W.A.S.P. Announce Fortieth-Anniversary Fall 2022 U.S. Tour

Eighties metallic stalwarts W.A.S.P. are going blind in Texas — and the remainder of the nation, as they embark on their first U.S. tour in greater than a decade to rejoice their Fortieth anniversary.

The trek begins on Oct. 29 in Anaheim, Calif., and runs by Dec. 9 in San Francisco. Fellow ’80s metallic veterans Armored Saint will be part of them on the street, with Michael Schenker offering further assist on the Texas and Oklahoma dates.

Tickets for the tour go on sale to most of the people on Jan. 14. You can discover extra ticketing data at W.A.S.P.’s web site and see the complete checklist of tour dates under.

“For over 10 years, now we have not toured on U.S. soil. But beginning in October 2022, we return,” bandleader Blackie Lawless stated in a tour promo video, which you’ll watch under. “Ten years I’d need, 10 years I’ve stubborn, 10 years I’d lust to return to my homeland and be a wild baby, a love machine, to be blind in Texas, in your knees and headless.”

W.A.S.P. final toured the U.S. in 2010, and their final U.S. present happened in 2013 on the M3 Rock Festival. Joining Lawless on the upcoming trek are bassist Mike Duda, who has been with the band since 1995; guitarist Doug Blair, who has been with the band since 2006; and relative newcomer Aquiles Priester, who joined in 2017.

“We’ll take the band and the followers again to the place it began, full with a stage-show extravaganza that many followers by no means noticed reside,” Lawless continued. “‘Cause I wanna scream, ‘trigger I wanna feed, ‘trigger I wanna bleed, ‘trigger I wanna be any person.”
